ABOUT PEN GLOWY

Pen Glowy is the Pen Name for Glory Bomane Temerigha, a Nigerian and native of Opume Community in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

She is a Musician with the stage name "Bomaneh" which is exactly how her middle name is pronounced and is the local translation of her first name. She is also a music producer and guitarist.

She is a graduate of the Niger Delta University, where she studied Computer Science, and holds a Master’s Degree in Information Technology from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).

She expresses her knowledge in IT through her business name TEMAZI which handles I.T related work like graphic design. Temazi is coined out of the first three letters of her late aunt's name Temerigha Azibawuramamu also known as Helen Azibawuramamu Temeria - Temerigha who raised her for the first ten years of her life and inspired her love for reading.

Reading fiction as a hobby gave birth to her venture into writing.  During the COVID-19 pandemic, she found time away from work to read fiction. She was searching for a romance novel with an intriguing male character for entertainment but couldn’t find one that fit her ideal—so she created one. That led to her debut romance novel, Dark Love , which she began on Inkitt.

She was updating the book for her own reading pleasure and was surprised to find an influx of readers. That encouraged her to continue writing.

She believes that creativity knows no borders—that no matter where you are in the world, your passion can spark something remarkable. Through her journey, she hopes to inspire others to keep their creative fire alive, pursue their goals with boldness, and prove that where you start doesn’t limit where you can go.

Pen Glowy loves nature and likes spending time with her family in Nigeria where she lives.

“I want to speak to creatives everywhere—especially those in overlooked places—about the power of starting where you are. Your location doesn’t define your reach. If the fire of your passion burns steady, your creativity will find its way to the world.”
